We are proudly operating under the auspices of the Islamic Center of Nassau (I.C.O.N) and operate under the esteemed supervision of Moulana Anwer Ali, who has devoted over five decades to religious and social service in the United States, particularly in New York. Wilayat Academy is led by Asad Abidi, an accomplished professional with extensive international experience in corporate leadership, educational development,
public affairs, and religious institutional management. His unwavering dedication to the cause of education and community development
serves as the backbone of the academy.
Alongside him is Mrs. Farah Abidi, a distinguished educator holding a Master’s in Education and International Development from the University of London,
UK, and a Master’s in Biochemistry from Karachi University. With vast experience in academic excellence, including tenure at Karachi Grammar School, she now teaches AP Chemistry at one of New York’s top high schools.
Under her leadership, our academy boasts a team of highly qualified educators who bring decades of experience in child development, Islamic scholarship, and modern pedagogical techniques.
